IGNORANCE SHOUTS, WISDOM IS SILENT!

ölüm döşeğinde şöyle demiş:
“Eğer daha uzun yaşayabilseydim,
bir tek günü bile insanların
onları ne kadar sevdiğimi söylemeden geçirmezdim.
Herkesi, kadın erkek demeden,
sevgiden daha kıymetli hiçbir şey olmadığına ikna ederdim.
Ve hepsine kanıtlardım ne kadar yanıldıklarını,
yaşlanınca artık âşık olamayacaklarını sandıklarında.
Bilmiyorlar ki,
insan sevgisizlikten yaşlanır.
Çocuğa uçması için kanatlar verirdim,
ama kendi başına uçmayı öğrenmesine izin verirdim.
Yaşlılara da ölümün yaşla değil,
unutulmuşlukla geldiğini anlatırdım.
Düşündüğüm her şeyi söylerdim,
ama söylediğim her şeyi düşünmeden söylemezdim.
Eşyaların değerini, neye sahip olduklarına göre değil,
ne ifade ettiklerine göre verirdim.

Sizden çok şey öğrendim.
